third day in beijing...
finally get to access this blog... and facebook too!
beijing is quite nice, and cold, let's hope we get to see snow... it's supposedly study session now, with everyone gaming... why am i not surprised?
my comp is running out of battery soon, and i dont think i have much things to write for now anyway... lazy to post la...

midnight...
it's 3:34am now, guess this is the second time that i stayed awake all night this year, the first being band chalet... well, just couldnt fall asleep... that's my intended outcome anyway... now i'm just spending my time doing random stuff (like blogging) while waiting for 4am... after such a long time, the da vinci code finally reached chapter 40... dont plan to continue reading now though, on the plane maybe...
since i have time, let's blog about band exchange last saturday... (it's a monday now) so what happened was i went there at 730, my normal time reaching OBR for the holidays... helped dejun and derborne with their charity cd packing... later the circle of three of us turned into a whole production line... prepared the hall for the exchange later and finally went to welcome them... nontri orchestra winds from thailand with conductor mr surapol... the exchange/course has its boring and fun parts, oh, and caleb rain cow... (it's an inside joke...) my solo session with the two bass trombone, erm, i'll use the word "tutors", went well i guess, though they spent quite some time trying to speak to me in english, without knowing that i can sort of infer what they are trying to say... learnt some techniques from them, but now i know that i need to improve my air support greatly... one of them lend me his mouthpiece, and i hyperventilated just by playing a few low notes on it...
oh great, i'm done blogging and it's 4am... shall go finish up my packing and call tuck... till whenever i'm free in BSC...

default language...
went out to a so-called reunion with 6k people this afternoon, oh wait, it's past midnight, so yesterday afternoon... feels good to see those old friends again, (it's already the 3rd time (at least) this year) but cant help feeling bored la... < sarcastic >it's SO fun!< /sarcastic > feels relieved that i'm 3hrs late, though i dont get to see ruo ni and thx her for the info...
just wondering if you noticed that you speak different languages with different people... my 1st language is actually cantonese, i do all my inner thoughts and talking-to-myself sessions in cantonese... it's the langauge i speak with relatives, and occasionally with friends that i know can understand it...
mandarin with malaysian friends, and with some that speaks mandarin with me, but not yan jun... there's something that stops me from speaking mandarin with him...
english with mainly friends in singapore, and with other friends that chinese cmi... jason and aaron are a few up on this list...
other languages are used in random...

back from band camp
actually that was like 6 hours ago... i'm suppose to be sleeping now, band camp is freaking tiring, and yet, i'm here doing the thing that i daoed for quite a long time... wondering why...
ok, back to camp for now... this is the first "activity" that the exco 09/10 planned, and i suppose it turned out well, although i still have quite a lot of stuff to do... after beijing then...
great, just as i predicted, i cant stay focused blogging.... just went to find out more about tales of the sea, and found out that it's 2003 syf set peice...
no mood to continue liao, go sleep...

abandoning this blog...
hmm, apparently no one i checked updated their blogs, well, holidays... guess i'll abandon it too... i will not update, until maybe when i can find something interesting to write about... band camp, concert or BSC... but i probably wont, lazy...
almost bored to death the first two days i came back, alone in my room, but adapting now... found ways to spend my time like watching 天龙八部, reading the da vinci code and i'm currently reading detective conan from the start again, thanks to onemanga...
band camp will be next week, and our concert on 28th... haiz, i have tickets to get off my hands...
so, bye for now...

memories, once again...
i read through kahloon's blogpost on OBS, reminded me a lot of my own, and i revisited my own post about OBS... there's really this indescribable feeling reading through what i wrote in the past, especially for the two most amazing journeys in my life till now: OBS and taiwan...
found our group shot for OBS just now when i'm packing, found out that i cant remember half of their names, well, except thamsy, menquan, eugene, edward, wesley, lionel, mingda, the two joels and our instructors... i think... i dont have the pic with me now... also discovered the gifts for me from my 接待家庭... fine, not "discovered" since i know that it's there all along... but still, all that precious memories just came back to me... how i wish time will just run backwards... well, but like from the movie "meet the robinsons", keep moving forward...
really looking forward to bsc now, and of course the overseas trip to either hawaii or tasmania that the band will be going... hope that they will, too, be part of my precious memory...
i'm very satisfied with myself now, for being able to pack all the books and random stuff that i have in one day... think i was just being too bored... and i know i have a poster to do, but i'm not doing... on a random note, i swear yesterday was the slackiest day i ever had in my whole hwa chong school life...

results...
yay, finally gotten back all the results... and as a tradition, let's share my results with everyone!
chinese should be a A2, expected... english b4, compo screwed, but compre 36, unexpected but still quite nice... malay still unknown, but compre A1 la... math 3 A1s! yay higher math... sciences both A1! yay sciences, but not to higher paper... humans die humans, c5 i suppose... need to see how well i do overall...
and so that's all!
