just in the mood to do so...
hmm,
i'm starting to love the internet once more...
though not very much,
but still better than nothing...
my msn is facing problem,
and now i'm having problem reinstalling it...

for now i'm quite addicted to the song "still alive"
and like what tuck said,
the aftermath of playing portal...
but the song is real nice and the lyrics are meaningful,
provided that you know what it's talking about...
however,
i'm sure the so called addiction will be over soon,
like how "memory" goes...

let's see,
my weekend plan is actually quite full,
probably going watch half blood prince on sat,
and sun will be going cycling...
so better make sure i finish all my work before that...

band elections tomorrow...
good luck to all who are running...

我在CSE的日子
pl's assignment...
i'm getting goosebump reading what i wrote...
hmm...
pday tomorrow!!!
CHIONG!!!

stuff from facebook...

Your view on yourself:

You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:

You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:

You prefer to get to know a person very well before deciding whether you will commit to the relationship.

The seriousness of your love:

You like to flirt and behave seductively. The opposite sex finds this very attractive, and that's why you'll always have admirers hanging off your arms. But how serious are you about choosing someone to be in a relationship with?

Your views on education

Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.

The right job for you:

You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.

How do you view success:

You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous.

What are you most afraid of:

You are afraid of things that you cannot control. Sometimes you show your anger to cover up how you feel.

Who is your true self:

You are full of energy and confidence. You are unpredictable, with moods changing as quickly as an ocean. You might occasionally be calm and still, but never for long.

the part that i spent time thinking over is the "how do you view success one"...
career...
but the other parts are somewhat accurate la,
can try...

energy...
let's see,
if i'm going to say everything that i want to say in this post,
this post will be super long...
and i dont like to read super long post...
so...
let's skip some stuff yeah?

hmm,
i'm being very tired these few days,
due to school restarting....
i think i need to learn how and where to spend my energy on,
so as to not exhaust myself that easily...
i fell asleep around 2230 on tuesday,
slept for an hour after i came back from school on wednesday,
thursday slept around 2230 again,
then yesterday around 2330...
hmm, but the general trend is i'm controlling how i spend my energy better now,
so not feeling that tired anymore...

next, personality change...
found out that i can change my personality quite easily...
so basically i'll change when i find the situation too, erm,
unable to resolve using my current personality...
example will be "then"...
find out yourself if you want to know la...

nomad lifestyle is getting ok,
but quite troublesome if you think of it...
someone, i forgot who, think it's kerry or someone else,
says that: "now we're late for every lesson for at least 10 min"
erm, and i sort of agree...
especially when we need to travel from one end of the school to the other end...
but it's quite fun to see everyone walking around in their bags...
lol, and our class is using the library as a base now...
throw all your bags in the library,
go eat, collect your bag...

Boarding schools take steps to tackle spread of H1N1 flu

By Hoe Yeen Nie, Channel NewsAsia | Posted: 05 July 2009 1459 hrs

SINGAPORE: Since the discovery of an H1N1 flu cluster at a boarding school here, other schools with boarding facilities have taken steps to minimise the spread of the virus.

At Dunman High School, 30 boarders who have been quarantined due to the H1N1 flu are housed in isolation rooms. Another 20 have been moved to a separate hostel, as there is a lack of space at its Tanjong Rhu campus.

Principal of Dunman High School, Sng Chern Wei, said: "By providing services like meal services, laundry services and by having washing facilities inside the hostel quarantine rooms, they need not step outside the hostel quarantine rooms at all throughout the seven days.”

During this period, the students may also attend classes online. Large-scale gatherings have also been cancelled, while its 500 boarders now take their meals at different times.

The school hopes that hostel life will be affected as little as possible, should a student be found H1N1-positive.

Dunman High says it will lift the quarantine order for students on Monday.

Over at Hwa Chong Institution, ensuite isolation rooms have also been set aside, and meals will be delivered to those under quarantine to minimise contact with others.

Nine in 10 of its 700 boarders are foreigners, and so far, 12 boarders have been quarantined.

But most students are not too worried about catching the virus.

One student said: "We'll still go about our lives as normal, to watch movies together, and to socialise. There is no need to over-react."

However, group study sessions, which the school holds at its canteen every night, and other mass events, have stopped for the time being.

and our school too la,

H1N1...
the disease is getting pretty serious now,
apparently MOE/MOH banned all activities that requires mass gathering,
with the exception of eating la...
so that means no flag-raising, no assembly, no CCA, no SDLS etc. for one week,
ok, at least one, until further notice...
some day ago,
i even talked to ruchi about how she shouldnt travel to singapore now,
and how our school wouldnt let us travel overseas for exchanges...
of course a lot of us will hope that the school shut down,
(i'm one of them la)
but if that happens,
it probably wouldnt be good either...

anyway, school's starting tomorrow,
and i think i'll get screwed badly...
hope that wont happen...
time to pack my bag and send an email to a certain someone,
not forgetting my supper...
hope our first day as nomads will turn out well...

greek mythology...
i have a lot of topics to choose from these days,
though i already forgotten most of them...
anyway, i decided to do on *point to title*

well, two days ago,
i somehow remember jiasheng telling me that something like:
"save gaia la"
when i told him that i left my comp on overnight...
since i dont really have anything to do,
i searched up on gaia (the Earth)...
greek mythology is one thing that still interest me greatly...
actually, i'm first introduced to grrek mythology through roman mythology...
i remember my dad bought a book on pisces,
and in it there is a story of how venus and cupid created the pisces...
(though the rest of the book wrote about venus,
the god of beauty and love in roman mythology)
anyway,
about gaia...
gaia gave birth to Uranus (the Sky)
and uranus fertilised gaia...
however, uranus hated the children of gaia and himself,
so he hid them in the Tartarus....
this causes great pain for gaia,
as tartarus is gaia's bowel/womb,
so she asked her children to castrate uranus...
the youngest son Cronus did that and released himself and his 11 siblings from tartarus,
and out came the twelve Titans...
later, the twelve Olympians overthrown the titans...
ok, fine...
i'll stop here...
anyway, the number twelve of the titans and olympians sort of reminded me on something,
something that i'm a worrying a little now...

lolz, just found out i can type long stories...
i can continue on the details and events if you want to...
lolz...
