friends...
i noticed that some of my friends can write very emo blog post,
and all of them somehow will write about friends...
i dont have the ability to do so (or at least i think),
but i certainly want to touch on the topic "friends"...

a question asked by mr ang and min hua during the CME interview:
"how do you make friends?"
my answer:
"just like that loh,
nothing special...
you see a person for a long time,
say hello and then soon you'll know him/her"
but thinking about it,
i dont find that entirely true...
i am a very passive person,
actually friends make me,
i dont make them...
i'm as friendly as you are, as cold as you are...
this is a very accurate statement to describe me...
like how my OG goes,
i'm not the one that started leading them actually,
it's them that gives me the support, by being friendly (sometimes hyper),
that's how i got to know them that quickly...
another very good example will be my group of trombone juniors...
i will treat you like a friend as long as you treat me like one...

i've been observing some of the friends i have this whole month,
just trying to analyse why some of them succeed while others dont...
in terms of studies,
listed below are the few types....
1. smart, study hard, successful life
2. smart, dont really study hard, still manage to succeed
3. smart, dont study, used to be successful in life
4. not that intelligent, study hard, improve very well
5. not that intelligent, dont really study, depends on luck
6. not that intelligent, dont study, fail
look at the above categories,
which one do you belong to?
one thing i can see from above,
study/work brings you success...
(at least in my life it applies)
but still,
i dont understand why some of them out there dont see this...
they continue with their life doing whatever they want,
and when they fail,
they blame the whole world but themselves,
never realising their mistake...
i guess it's all because of attitude...
then it leads me to the next question...
does your attitude determines what you do,
or what you do result in your attitude?
read the next post about attitude!

reading my past blog posts really brings back a lot of memories,
but i'm quite sad that blogging as free as that is not possible nowadays...
